Over the years, I have learned to articulate the case, “why is this idea so important to the world and to the future and why should anyone care enough about it to contribute to its success?”

I learned about communication, authentically sharing my love of the mission and asking others to join me. I also learned about budgeting and diversifying funding streams, how to lead others to deliver the vision through strong programs, and how to engage major donors and grantors to fund the program and the new nature center.

I am an entrepreneur who has taken risks to make a change in the world. I have developed strong partnerships with individuals, grantors, government agencies and other stakeholders to achieve great change in my community. My work in my community to inspire support has facilitated major growth of the vision to positively impact a very broad audience.
